Slide behind the wheel of this restored 1967 Corvette Roadster and feel the exhilaration and memories of a bygone era. This is the last and most collectible year of the C 2 Sting Rays ever built. This St. Louis built car is rust free and has never been in an accident. The factory bonding strips are still the originals and are intact. This " Matching Numbers" vehicle is fitted with the highly desirable and potent L-79 motor, a small block 327/350 horsepower model mated with the M-20 close ratio " Rock Crusher" 4 speed Muncie transmission and posi-traction rear end(I'm not sure of the gear ratio). The original 4 barrel Holley carburetor functions flawlessly. This car is one of 6,375 L-79's built out of a total of 14,436 Roadsters in 1967. Only 3,840 were finished in beautiful Marina Blue. This color correct code 964 has a flawless Black interior and matching Black vinyl soft top and Black carpets. The top's rear window is crystal clear and has no scratches. All the glass is correctly date stamped. The chrome bumpers and all chrome trim is bright and shiny and without any flat spots or pitting. The car is equipped with dual cylinder power disc brakes ( J50), power windows ( A 31), a working original AM/FM radio and correct antennae. Power assisted steering was added. All gauges are working and have clear lenses. The Rallye wheels are fitted with "Coker" Red Line Radial tires. The factory side exhausts add to the sporty look and muscular exhaust growl. The car has the original jack. All electrical and mechanical parts are correctly date stamped and function properly. This car is an exceptional " Head Turning" example of the Corvette Stingray breed and is a low maintenance daily driver, unlike the Big Block 427's that require a standby mechanic at all times. This car has been meticulously maintained and pampered by renowned and award winning Corvette restorer " Kevin Mackay" , owner of Corvette Restoration in Valley Stream, N.Y. (Look him up). This car needs little upgrading to meet NCRS judging standards. Hagerty Classic Insurers values this car in the $62,000-$85,000. range.
